Combat sports like MMA, wrestling, jiu jitsu, muay thai, boxing and others require a combination of strength, speed, power, skill and technique that can take many years to develop. Years of consistent training can take it toll on the body and mind. Long hours, aches, pains, injuries and other distractions can become discouraging, if we lose focus on our goals. So here is my question:

Do You Expect to Win?
Does Your Work Ethic Reflect a Champion?
Do You Surround Yourself With Good People?
Do you remember what it feels like to win?
How Bad Do You Really Want To Win?
Is Training and Competing an Important Part of Your Life?
What are You Willing To Give Up?
What are You Willing to Overcome?
How high do you want to climb?
Are You Enjoying the Moments Along the Way?
Are You Making Excuses or Attacking Challenges Head On?
How long have you been working to improve?
Do You Have a Champion’s Mindset?
Does winning motivate you to train?
Is winning a habit?
What emotions do you feel when you win?
Does it motivate you to get up in the morning?
Does it keep you motivated when times get tough?
What factors create champions?
While some people show up and work consistently, others constantly struggle to stay focused. We all have good days and bad days, but champions keep charging forward, regardless of life’s obstacles.

- What motivates you day in and day out?
Think about it for a few minutes and really think about the guys that have been consistent for the last few years. Think about the guys and girls that came and went. Why do some stay, work hard, sacrifice and improve, while others struggle with the entire process?
