Many people just randomly work hard, but the key is developing a coordinated plan by reverse engineering our fight prep. In order to maximize our preparations, it’s important to address a variety of athletic qualities. Laying the foundation, addressing imbalances, strengthening the body, increasing capacity, intensifying over time, ramping up the conditioning, getting explosive, then tapering for competition.
